Backsliding

"Of course, brothers, I really do not think that I have already reached it, the one thing I do, however is to forget what is behind me and do my best ot reach what is ahead"
Philippians 3:13

Christian life is a life full of stuggle and persecutions. But it is not a life of backsliding. There may be trials and tribulations, but never backsliding.

We have to forget all those troubles and struggles and try our level best ot reach ahead. Chritians living does not warrant a successful and smooth flowing life, rather it is a life filled with problems. But we have to learn from our past failures and strive to win.

Most often we find ourselves in a dilemma. We go for various camps and retreats where we get fired and we make lot of resolutions. But the moment we reach home we forget the resolution that we had made and we are back to square one.

When Lot and his family was asked to leave all their belongins and run away from Sodom, his wife, concerned about leaving all her belongings turned back, and she was turned into a piller of salt pillar.

When Napolean Bonaparte went overseas to capture new lands, he would carry his troops in ships to the shores of various nations. Once he reached there, he would burn down the ships, so that the soldiers had no other option but to fight and win.

Likewise, we should remove all our past sins, failures, stuggles and everthing and target on the winning the race.
